Seamless Blending Method, an advanced highlighting foil technique developed over nine years, redefining modern luxury hair color. Meet the creator, Sonia Paniagua founder of The Salon San Francisco, a Goldwell Master Colorist and educator. Trained in Los Angeles under celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan, known for Jennifer Aniston’s iconic hair, Sonia built her approach through years of apprenticeship, advanced education, and hands on artistry.
Over the past decade, Sonia has evolved Seamless Blending into a signature technique recognized in San Francisco for modern color, long lasting results and elevated client experience.
As a Goldwell educator she travels regularly to the Kao Salon Academy in New York, for artist development training alongside industry leaders. Artist build presentations based on topics and get to teach their audience an experience that continues to inspire her work. Today she mentors the next generation of hairstylist in the Bay Area.
At The Salon San Francisco, Sonia leads a hands on certification program in the Seamless Blending Method ensuring consistency, artistry, and excellence across the team, while allowing each colorist to bring their own creative perspective. Sonia believes talent is built through character and community formed with consistency.
Outside the salon, she is grounded in her faith, values meaningful time with family, finds joy running alongside the water with her sweet spaniels Lady and Hunter and building a culture rooted in creativity, integrity and mentorship. A philosophy she has carried since the age of 12: If you have a dream chase it, cause a dream won’t chase you back. Now, at 39, Sonia has built that dream into reality.
